Our Privacy Policy
A plain-language explanation of what information this website collects and how it's used.
Last updated: 16 August 2026
This policy explains what information the Lotus Valley Public School website (https://lotusvalleyschool.in) collects when you use it, and how that information is handled.
Information we collect
The only information this website collects is what you choose to type into the “Send us a message” form on our Contact page: your name, phone number, and message. We don’t collect any other personal information automatically — there’s no account creation, no newsletter signup, and no tracking of what pages you visit.
How we use it
When you submit the contact form, it opens your own device’s email app with a message addressed to us, ready for you to send. That means your submission goes directly from your email account to ours (Lotusvalley33@gmail.com) once you choose to send it — this website’s own servers don’t receive, process, or store what you write. Our staff read these messages in our inbox and get back to you, usually by calling the phone number you provide.
Google Maps embed
Our Contact page embeds a Google Maps view so you can see our campus location. This map is loaded directly from Google, and using it may allow Google to set its own cookies or collect data according to Google’s Privacy Policy. This is entirely Google’s own data practice and outside our control.
Cookies & analytics
This website does not currently set its own cookies or use any analytics or tracking tools. If that changes in the future — for example, if we add analytics to better understand how the site is used — we’ll update this page to describe it clearly.
Data retention
Since contact form submissions arrive as an email in our inbox, they’re kept for as long as we keep that email, consistent with our normal email account practices.
Your choices & contact us
If you have questions about this policy, or want to ask what information we hold about you, reach us at +91 73021 12542 or Lotusvalley33@gmail.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website evolves. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “last updated” date above.
Disclaimer
This is a plain-language privacy policy written for a small local school website, not a substitute for formal legal advice. We recommend having it reviewed by a qualified professional against India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and any other applicable requirements before relying on it for full legal compliance.
