This policy explains what information the Lotus Valley Public School website (https://lotusvalleyschool.in) collects when you use it, and how that information is handled.
Information we collect
When you submit the “Send us a message” form on our Contact page, we collect your name, phone number, and message. Our server also briefly notes the IP address your submission came from, used only to prevent spam (see below) — we don’t log or store it. We don’t collect any other personal information — there’s no account creation and no newsletter signup.
How we use it
When you submit the contact form, our server checks it for spam (including a limit of 3 submissions per IP address every 15 minutes, tracked only in memory and never written to disk) and, once it passes, emails your name, phone number, and message to our staff inbox (Lotusvalley33@gmail.com). The server doesn’t keep a copy afterward — it relays the message and discards it. Our staff read these messages in our inbox and get back to you, usually by calling the phone number you provide.
Google Maps embed
Our Contact page embeds a Google Maps view so you can see our campus location. This map is loaded directly from Google, and using it may allow Google to set its own cookies or collect data according to Google’s Privacy Policy. This is entirely Google’s own data practice and outside our control.
Cookies & analytics
This website uses Vercel Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they look at. It doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t identify you individually — it only reports aggregated numbers like page views and referring sites. See Vercel’s Privacy Policy for details. Beyond that, this website does not set its own cookies or use any other tracking tools.
Data retention
The server doesn’t store contact form submissions — it forwards each one by email and keeps no copy. Once it reaches our inbox, it’s kept for as long as we keep that email, consistent with our normal email account practices. The IP address noted for spam prevention is held in memory for at most 15 minutes and is never written to disk.
